A little about Emily...

Emily spent three years as a teacher in the public schools. These years trained her to adapt and teach messages that yield understanding in the hearts & minds of her listeners. She left full time teaching to pursue the call of God on her life. For three years, she worked for the PennDel Women Ministry team, organizing events, writing blogs, and speaking to teens. Now, Emily is a stay-at-home mom, who continues to minister through audio messages, written devotions, involvement at her church, and any other opportunities the Lord provides. She is a Certified Minister with the Assemblies of God, and is continually adding to her knowledge of God through personal study and ministry school.

family

I am married to my best friend, John. John and I support each other in the plans that God has for each of our lives - individually and as a team. We are different in so many ways, but we admire one another's strengths. John inspires me to grow every day. He is a person who challenges me to trust God in greater ways. We also have a beautiful daughter. Together, we desire to raise her and our future little ones to be mighty men and women of God.

Fun

I love to go hiking and explore new places. My husband and I will often drive to a quaint town or city, just to walk around and look at all the houses. I like to play games, be outside, garden, drink tea, attend concerts, and create art. I also really enjoy spending time with my friends and family. 

Favorites

I love ice cream! Growing up, I ate it every day after I got home from school. Now, I love to go for ice cream on spontaneous dates with my husband. I am a stickler for organization. I would much rather buy a new organizational tool than a new pair of shoes. Dance is my favorite form of creative expression. I love dancing around in my kitchen to worship or to just have fun. My favorite place to vacation is the beach or exploring a National Park.
